Recently I decided that life had become too complicated and that some change was needed. I had my web designer remove the shopping cart from my website here and moved all 'sales' activity to a new 1000Markets shop as well as my Etsy shop. The reason for this move is stress. I have a lot of stress in my life and keeping up with a merchant account (my ability to take credit cards directly) and two websites was removing the joy from creating jewelry. I found myself avoiding my jewelry table!

So here we are today...a new website layout and a renewed focus on doing what I love - designing jewelry!

I specialize in custom handcrafted jewelry and limited edition pieces created from my home in the Pacific Northwest. My goal is to create stunning jewelry that makes you feel like the Queen of the Universe!

I have been creating and crafting since as long as I can remember. In junior high I became interested in beading and found a local store called Shipwreck Beads. At that time, they had just a little tiny house-like store that sat very near a bay called Mudd Bay (when the tide goes out all you see is mud!). It was crowded and cramped and I could spend hours there! All the different styles, sizes, colors. It was incredible.

Shipwreck has moved and grown, as have I. They now have a huge warehouse with a cafe. And I'm grown up with a husband, three dogs, two cats, and my own little corner of beads and supplies...taking up most of our living room. My dogs, Kodiak and Quinn, Siberian Huskies, and Trooper a Malamute, and our newest addition Timber (a Malamute Shepherd mix rescue) are our four legged furry children. I swear they are the most spoiled dogs in the world with their own beds and a box full of toys. Imagine how spoiled our human kids will be someday!

Our first human baby is expected in October 2009! We're excited and terrified all at once. =)

I love to create! The possibilities are endless, as are the techniques I tend to employ. Fusing is my current passion but depending on my mood you can find me diving into PMC (precious metal clay), weaving wire, or creating a simple beaded piece. I love to learn new techniques so I always have lots of different projects in the works at one time.

I also work full-time which is a challenge I meet with enthusiasm - I always love a challenge. I'm extremely blessed to have a job that I love, a husband and family who I love and who support me, and a passion for creating beautiful jewelry that allows me to share with others. I hope you enjoy the jewelry I create as much as I do!
